About

Two decades of quiet work.

Fawkes and Co. is a bespoke joinery business run from a Northern Beaches workshop. For twenty years we've been fitting kitchens, libraries, wardrobes, and feature pieces into iconic homes along the Beaches and Lower North Shore, the Eastern Suburbs, and the South Coast — from Eastern Suburbs House to Mollymook to Kiama to Bundeena.

Our work has been recognised by the Kitchen Design Global Awards. We work with one client, one builder, one architect at a time. The result is joinery that doesn't compromise — and pieces that look the same in twenty years as the day they're installed.

We don't ship cabinets out of a factory. Every piece is designed at our bench, built in our workshop, and installed by the people who made it.

Inside the workshop

Cromer, every day.

We work from a workshop in Cromer, on the Northern Beaches. Three benches, a dedicated finishing room, and one rule — every piece leaves the floor better than the brief asked for.

We film the workshop most days. Process shots, install footage, timber close-ups. Drop in for a coffee — appointment recommended.

How we work

A clean handover, every time.

We work directly with you and your builder or architect from sketch to install. No middlemen, no surprises, no cabinets arriving from a factory you've never seen.

Brief & design

We sit down with you, your architect, your builder. We listen, sketch, and tighten until the brief is right.

Material selection

Australian hardwoods first. Pre-mill, condition, and board-by-board selection before anything hits the workshop floor.

Workshop build

Every piece is built in our Cromer workshop. Hand-finished. Photographed at every stage of the build.

On-site install

Our install team are the joiners who built it. The piece arrives finished and is fitted to last decades, not seasons.
